happy new year everyone. I've got another post I was working on to tell you how things are going, but wanted to share a great story from last night.
We spent a lovely evening with a nice couple from Belgium last night, who are in BA for the next 4 months. They have three kids, and while the parents speak English (and quite well) the kids don't really speak it at all. So I was interested in how my kids would interact.
Lovely Little Girl was herself, as per usual, and just kind of enjoyed being by herself. Crazy Little Man was all over the place with the oldest two sons, running around and playing soccer outside and having a great time. At the end of the evening, the oldest of their sons and CLM were sitting around watching soccer highlights together, yelling, "GOAL" over and over. Talking to each other and laughing. Neither speaking the same language, but definitely being friends.
Isn't it just like kids to show you that no matter where you're from, we're really all the same. No kid Is born with the knowledge of being different. It's something that's taught.
Hope you and yours have a happy new year from me and mine.
